The Cottage

There is a fire extinguisher in the lounge and a fire blanket in the kitchen. Mains powered heat rise detectors are situated within the kitchen and on the first floor landing. A carbon monoxide detector is fitted within the kitchen.

On Arrival

There is parking for two cars, within the courtyard, situated at the front of the cottage. Help with luggage is available. Guests are met on arrival and provided with a door key.

Ground Floor

The kitchen floor is a smooth tiled surface. The dining room has original wooden flooring, a wood burning stove on brick hearth and French doors leading out to the garden via three small steps. Stairs lead from the lounge up to the first floor bedrooms and bathrooms with handrail on the right hand side. The lounge is fully carpeted and there is a wood burning stove set on a stone hearth. All television equipment is remote controlled.

First Floor

All bedrooms are fully carpeted and both bathrooms have cushioned flooring. A non-slip bathmat is available upon request. Each bedroom has main lighting controllable from the doorway and there are bedside lamps on each bedside table. Non feather duvets and pillows are provided in each bedroom. Additional blankets are provided. Radiators have adjustable thermostats throughout the property. The master bedroom is accessed via a step off the main landing.

Outside

The courtyard is gravel and paving stones and is therefore uneven in certain places. The main garden is lawned with a gravel path. There is a rotary washing line in the garden.

Miscellaneous

Although we do not allow pets, we do welcome guide dogs. The cottage is situated on a working farm and all occupants should be aware of possible danger of the immediate surroundings. Children should be supervised at all times.
